We’re thrilled to welcome you to the 2025-2026 ringette season! The energy and excitement are already building as our players hit the ice. Thank you for your patience and support throughout the sort-out process.
With teams now formed and preparations underway, we’re looking forward to a fantastic season full of growth, teamwork, and fun. Let’s make it a great one! Included in this email you will find:
If you have any questions or issues that can’t be addressed by your team coach or manager, please reach out to your convenors.
League games will be available shortly. Once MDRA receives the league game schedule from the NCRRL, we will be hard at work preparing the practice schedules. All practice and game schedules will be available on the RAMP Team application which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). You will also find the schedules for all our teams in our website calendar.

Looking for more ice time for extra development or conditioning? MDRA's Edge Work, Power Skating + Skills and Goalie clinics are great opportunities to help players reach their goals while having fun with their fellow hornets. Registration is now open.
Save the date for your team photo day. Team photos will take place on October 19, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Metcalfe Hall. Once league games are scheduled, each team will be assigned a specific time slot.
Stay up-to-date with MDRA events by visiting our website. We are already hard at work planning the following events for this season.
A Halloween Trunk-or-Treat event is happening at Greely Village Park on Sat, Oct 25 from 1-4 PM. Local groups are invited to decorate a car trunk and include something interactive — candy, games, raffles, giveaways, etc.
We’re putting the feelers out to see if MDRA teams or members are interested in putting together an MDRA trunk! Interested? Contact events@mdra.ca.
On November 9, MDRA will be taking over Fred Barrett Arena. There will be regular season games for all divisions plus the arena will be abuzz with activities for MDRA families.
We’re giving away old goalie gear in various sizes that’s no longer fit for game use and holds no resale value. If you would like a set of pads for practising at home, they’re yours—completely free! Just reach out to the Equipment Director to arrange pickup.
The Social Committee is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the team! We’re excited to build on all the fun and successful events from last season — and we’d love your help. If you’re interested in getting involved in special events, please contact events@mdra.ca.
Plus, there are board positions available. We are hoping to onboard new members this fall in order to train them to take over portfolios for next year. If you are interested, please complete the Candidate Profile form and/or email our MDRA President.
Thank you for being part of the MDRA community.
