Metcalfe and District Ringette Association Scholarship Program (2026)
The Metcalfe and District Ringette Association (MDRA) is proud to offer a $500 scholarship to support a graduating athlete, official, volunteer, or coach who has demonstrated a strong commitment to the sport of ringette.
The selected recipient will receive a scholarship award certificate recognizing their contributions to MDRA and the ringette community.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be currently playing, coaching, volunteering, or officiating within MDRA
- Have participated in ringette for a minimum of three (3) years
- Be graduating and entering a full-time post-secondary program (university, college, or equivalent) in Canada for the upcoming academic year
- Experience at the Provincial or Regional level is considered an asset
Application Requirements
Applicants must:
- Complete the online application form
- Submit two (2) letters of reference (at least one from someone within the ringette community)
- Submit a transcript of marks for the most recently completed school year
All materials must be submitted through the application form.
Application Deadline: June 17, 2026
Additional Information
- The successful applicant will be selected by the MDRA Executive
- Scholarship funds will be released upon proof of full-time enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution
- Funds must be applied to the 2026-2027 academic year (deferrals are not permitted)
- The successful applicant will be invited to attend the MDRA Annual General Meeting to receive their award:
